Field Notes #003 - "The Pouch That Earned Its Patch"
We didn't start Thrillside to make accessories.
We started it because too many of the sucked.
The T Bag wasn't a design project. It was a field fix.
The pouches we were using sagged, flopped, or tore after a few weeks of dragging through the backcountry.
One snagged on a fence. One zipper blew out. One dumped the Havalon blades somewhere between base camp and the next ridge.
So we went back to the garage.
We built it tight. One zipper. One main compartment.
No flaps. No Velcro. No wasted space.
Just a pouch that shuts up and holds up.
1000D Cordura. Purpose-built.
It fits where you need it - pack straps, chest rigs, belt kits.
It hauls what you can't afford to lose - ammo, tools, tags, meds, odds, ends, and whatever else ends up on the list.
We didn't give it a name until we broke a few in.
And when it finally held up to the loud-outs, the rattling, the dust, and the wet -- we gave it a patch.
The T Bag
Because good gear earns its name.
